WHAT WE WANT
Bring us your on-trend, in-style high-street designer clothing, shoes and accessories. We buy men’s & women’s items in excellent condition. We take the best of all seasons, all year long and make selections based on current inventory needs. We accept only clean, unstained, odour-free items
WHAT YOU GET
You receive a choice of either 25% cash of what we price your items to sell for or 50% in CXC
store credit which can be used anytime for up to 12 months
There are three ways to sell with CXC in our store
WALK-IN
Simply walk into the store and a buyer will give you an offer of cash or store credit straight away. We buy from open to close, 7 days a week
APPOINTMENT
If you want to guarantee that you won’t have to queue, you can book a selling appointment. Appointments are optional as we accept walk-ins every day
DROP-OFF
Simply let a buyer know that you’d like to drop off your items, complete a brief form and be on your way. Sellers have the option to return to store for payment after 24 hours (and to collect any unwanted items) or to receive payment by either bank transfer or store credit held on file. Sellers must return to collect any unwanted items within three days or choose to have them donated to charity

No, our experienced buyers have to see all items in person before we can say whether or not we’d be able to buy them

Find a member of the team either at the tills or around the store. They will point you to the designated buyer that day. Some basic details will be taken and you will be advised when your buy will be completed. The buyer will evaluate your items to determine which ones we will be able to sell in store, based on our current stock levels, condition of the item, and expected interest from customers. The buyer will then price the items we can take for sale in store and give you the choice between a cash (25%) and credit value offer 50%. Feel free to have a shop around the store to see if there are any items you wish to trade for, although many customers choose to take store credit a on a CXC trade card which is valid for up to 12 months
No. Store credit will be put on your CXC trade card and can be used anytime for up to 12 months. The CXC trade card is yours to keep, and you can keep trading again and again using the same store account.
Yes, just let your buyer know your preference.
Our average a buy based off of 15 items takes 20-30 minutes. This can vary depending on the items within the buy.
Our store is the biggest in Bristol, so we are able to consider most brands, although we
typically do not buy fast fashion or department store brands
Yes, although we need to authenticate items we buy, so if you are able to show an original purchase receipt for higher-end items, this will be useful. If we are unable to authenticate this could mean we are unable to buy.

No. Many customers bring a suitcase or two with them but please be prepared this may take longer. We recommend using our drop off service for larger sells
No. We offer all customers the option to leave any items we cannot purchase to be donated to charity.
